NMT 2022 Awards Finalists

Exciting news!

The Old Forge Day Nursery has been award-nominated in three categories at the annual NMT (Nursery Management Today) Awards 2022. It’s our second set of nominations this year as we attend the Nursery World awards at the end of September. Amazing recognition yet again for our nursery.

We are so proud of our amazing team, their hard work, dedication, and all they achieve.

The categories we are nominated in are:

Kids Cooking & Nutrition Education Award

This award will recognise the best programme for teaching children to learn about nutrition. The judges will be looking for a nursery setting that has demonstrated exceptional commitment to giving children an enjoyable introduction to healthy food and food education.

Nursery Chef

We were a finalist last year, hopefully, 2022 is the year for our amazing Kate!

This award will be made to a Chef in a nursery setting, who shows exceptional ability in providing well-balanced, nutritious, and delicious food, that takes into account the individual needs of children, giving special attention to allergies, sensitivities, cultures, and food hygiene.

Forest or Beach School

This award will be made to the forest or beach school/kindergarten which can demonstrate their focus on developing personal, social, and emotional life skills through learner-led, nature-based learning.

The ceremony will take place this November, in London
